És erre futunk egy olyan versenyt, mint a mai – ez egészen hihetetlen! Sokáig nem tudott itt nyerni a Ferrari, és láttam a sok szurkolót, akik annyira boldogok voltak ezzel a győzelemmel. Nagyon hosszú még az út az év végéig, szóval nem igazán gondolok arra, hogy vezetem a bajnokságot. Persze azért jó kis mellékzönge ez. Érzelmes volt Jacques (Villeneuve) bemutatója, aki az apja autójával bemutatózott, és nagyszerű, hogy így emlékezhettünk a nagyszerű Gilles-re (Villeneuve).”
